¶ Finding a dataset
To help you easily find datasets relevant to your use case, we've included a simple text search function on the Datasets page. Just enter a keyword that describes what you're interested in, and the datasets shown will be filtered to those that include your search term in the dataset name, description or tags.
¶ Download a dataset
To download a simple dataset, select the dataset you are interested in from the list. You'll be presented with various details about the dataset. Scroll to the Download & Visualisation section to find a link to download the data to your local device.
¶ Time-Series data
To download time-series data:
- select a date range and click Next
- draw a polygon surrounding your area of interest and click Submit
Nb: to complete the polygon, either select the first point again, or double-click.
You'll be shown a list of all the data available in your chosen time range, area and dataset. Now you have a few options
You can choose to directly download the file to your local machine via the browser, by clicking this icon:
If you want to download the file using code, select this icon:
