EO Africa DUNIA was presented at the ESA booth during the New Space Africa Conference 2025, which took place from 21–24 April in Cairo at the premises of the Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) and the newly inaugurated African Space Agency.
A historic milestone marked this year’s conference: the official inauguration of the African Space Agency which was a defining moment that underscores Africa’s growing leadership and ambition in the global space economy.
Over four inspiring days, the event brought together visionaries, researchers, and practitioners from across the continent and beyond, united under one powerful goal: bridging the gap between space technology and end users in Africa.
Attendees had the opportunity to explore EO Africa DUNIA, an integrated platform designed to manage, process, and visualize Earth Observation data tailored for Africa's unique needs.
Also featured at the event was the EO AFRICA R&D Facility, highlighting cutting-edge research and development that’s shaping the future of Earth Observation on the continent.
